Product Description
3M Scotch-Weld Structural Core Splice Film AF 3028 is a low-density, expandable epoxy film for filling mismatch areas, reinforcing honeycomb core, and creating core splices. The off-white unsupported film expands during cure to fill the joint while maintaining low sag and low volatile loss. AF 3028 supports cure temperatures from 121 to 176 deg C and provides structural performance from -55 to 176 deg C. Protective liners support cutting and placement before the honeycomb assembly is closed and cured under the selected process conditions.
